Thing #8
I think that I'll find RSS very useful. I currently check a variety of book review website, blogs and other library-related sites on a regular basis. It's convenient to have them all nicely organized in one location. When I come across a new source that I feel I may want to visit again, I can just add it to my blogline account. Great.

Thing #5
Lincoln Public LibraryWhen I found this image in Flickr, I right away thought about the possibilities for the new Stafford Branch. I would definitely like to see a separate children's room, just like we currently have at Stafford. Parents really like a separate space and sound doesn't carry too far outside the room into the adult areas. I like this "open book" doorway too.

Here Goes Nothing!!!
Okay - I'm here to blog about my experiences in the Web 2.0 challenge. My family is really counting on me. My seven-year-old son is already expecting me to win the Wii (althought I truly did explain to him how unlikely that would be).
With regards to life-long learning.
The point easiest for me will be "accepting responsibility for my own learning."
The most difficult, besides blogging (which frankly is not going to come naturally to me) will be "viewing problems as challenges." I'm not usually a glass half-full type of person and may get discouraged or side-tracked too easily.
